C.L.A.S.S. # 101 Discovering Christian Community
which is for those interested in making SequimCommunityChurch their new church home. This class will provide you the opportunity to find out more about us as we get to know you in a more personal way. The next session is scheduled for three consecutive Sundays from approximately 12:00pm to 1:30pm in the Geneva Hall. A light lunch will be served to participants.
Since we have regular attendees like you, from many different church backgrounds, C.L.A.S.S. # 101 has been designed to clearly explain who and what our church is.
Together we will discover what makes SCC a special family. We will cover four basic things that unite us: “What God has done for us,” “Why we exist as a church,” “How we fulfill our purpose at the church,” and “When and where we fulfill our purpose.”
The class will culminate, for those who desire, with your being received into membership by the Elders on the last day of class and your introduction to the congregation usually the following Sunday, at the 9:00 am, 10:00am or 11:00am Worship Service. An informal reception will be held during the Fellowship Times.

C.L.A.S.S. 201 Discovery Christian Maturity
The purpose of C.L.A.S.S. 201 can be found in Colossians 4:12b (Phillips Version), “…That you may become mature Christians and may fulfill God’s will for you” and Ephesians 4:14-15, “We are not meant to remain as children… but to grow up in every way like Christ…”. Our Associate Pastor to Youth, Tony Toth, will help you focus on five basic habits that Christians need to develop in their movement towards spiritual maturity. This class will help you better understand and implement these five habits: Time with God, Time in the Bible, Time in Prayer, Time for Giving, and Time with God’s Family.
C.L.A.S.S. 301 Discovery our S.H.A.P.E. for Ministry
The purpose of this class is summed up in Ephesians 4: 11-12 (God) has given…pastors and teachers to prepare God’s people for works of ministry, so the body of Christ may be built up. Elder of Adult Ministries, Dave Neidhardt will prepare you for the work of ministry at SCC. The foundation of this class is that each of us is uniquely gifted for ministry in the church. At SCC we focus on an individual approach to ministry. You will look at the Five Personal Factors that have combined to shape the “real” you. By identifying the specific traits you possess in each of these areas, the ministry for which God has designed you will become crystal clear.

The focus of this seminar will be to help you: discover your mission in life, know how to share the message of the Gospel, identify and impact your sphere of influence and become a world-class Christian.
